Tema Oil Refinery works to raise processing throughput

Engineers are working on a crude heater intended to lift output at Ghana’s refinery.

Graphic Online quotes management saying current processing is about 28,000 barrels per stream day, with work aimed at the existing unit’s 45,000–55,000 capacity range. Completion is targeted for the end of October. Larger expansion targets are future plans, not current production.
